With the exemplary development and entrepreneurship of Kayseri in Turkey, University was also intended to highlight the city in education and was thought to carry the name of Turkey's 11th President Abdullah Gül. As AGU aspires to its aim of being a research and teaching University of international standards, an institution playing a key role in its development will be the AGU Foundation.
