Ankara is the capital of Turkey and the second largest city after Istanbul. It has an area of 30.715 km² and a population of 4,431,719 based on 2010 estimation. The city is located in central Anatolia. It is an important commercial and industrial city. It is the center of the Turkish goverment, and houses all foreign embassies. It is an important crossroads of trade, strategically located at the centre of Turkey's highway and railway networks, and serves as the marketing centre for the surrounding agricultural area.
How to get to ANKARA:
You can go anywhere in the city by EGO buses which is the public bus transportation. The fee for one time board ticket is 1,75 TL.

Ankaray and Metro are two different subway routes in Ankara. You can use your EGO ticket also for the subway and that will cost 1.75TL.

Between the two stations of Sincan and Kayaş you can use the suburban train. The ticket fee is 1.75TL for one time board.
