The number of private and public dormitories is increasing in the city centre and the districts in which university has campus.  There are 3 dormitories, managed by Credit and Dormitories Foundation and their capacity is 1622 beds for males and 2410 beds for females .With the students  staying at the private dormitories, the university is housing 8000 students in total. In addition, there are 2 student hotels with 2000 beds capacity in the campus. The students can also rent a house if they want. The rents are between 100 and 350 Euro. Yet, heating expenses are not included in the rent.


By air:

Sivas has a modern airport named ‘Sivas Nuri Demirbağ Airport’ which has mutual flights to İstanbul Atatürk, İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen, İzmir Adnan Menderes, Antalya and Ankara Esenboğa Airports. The longest flight is 75 minutes. After the flight, you can come to the city center using the services at the airport. By bus:

There are daily bus services to Sivas from the cities like İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir and so many other cities of Turkey. You can go to the campus using the public transportation passing in front of the bus terminal. It takes 7 hours between Sivas and Ankara and 14 hours between Sivas and İstanbul.

By train:

Sivas has an existing railway line with Ankara and İstanbul. High-speed train service will start soon.


Transportation in the city

The public transportation is made through small buses. It starts at 6.00 o’clock in the morning lasts at 00.00 at night. The public transportation is available between the city and the university campus in every 5 minutes, and the bus rides take about 15 minutes. It is made through the card system. Yet, you can also use cash.
