General Admission Requirements
Admission to undergraduate programs is carried out in accordance with the regulations determined by the University Senate within the framework of the Higher Education Act 2547 dated 4 November 1981 and of the regulations and decisions of the Higher Education Council. In order to gain admission to an associate (2-year, short cycle) or undergraduate program (4-year, first cycle) in a higher education institution, Turkish students have to take a university entrance exam administered by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The examination consists of two stages.
For International Students
ÖSYM has abolished ‘‘Examination for International Students (YÖS)’’ since 2010-2011 education period. Universities have the right for selection of foreign students. The admission criteria have to be approved by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK).
The international candidates may apply to graduate studies at master or doctorate levels. Applications to graduate programs are processed by Graduate Schools. There are minimum requirements for application to different departments.
Information about application process and important dates will be announced on our website. Applications are accepted from Students affairs Department; applicants can post their documents or apply directly. It’s necessary to graduate from a hıgh school equal to Turkish high schools. We don’t have online application system.
Can apply to our University as a foreign student.
